Hi Reg,

Did you mean something along these lines?

*chuckling* I tried adding an alpha channel and opening the door. Unfortunately, you see that the car does not have a back wall when you look through the opening at acute angles.

    Hi chris,

Skinning inside is mutch harder to do as the outside,is that right ?

This box has to stand in a loading yard and not to be pulled,so the worker inside dont has been fallen outside. This looks hammerhard. :D :D

This can be for Reg and me too. :)

was it my 101st post ?

    Hi Peter,

That’s a picture of a quick workscene I set up and then pasted into the boxcar open doorway. I wanted to see if Biggs agreed with the idea before I spent too much time on it. (I don’t even know if he runs North American freight.)

It’ll take a little work to get a cleaner image but it’s do-able. Of course, a two dimensional scene in a three dimensional world has its drawbacks.

    Yeah, 101!

The open box car door that you have shown is great, it would add to the layouts of non working goods yards.

I have just done an inventory of all the rolling stock on a track plan, if I had to go and purchase all this it would cost more than I get in a year.

I made a mistake with using Biggs as a user name, everyone thinks I am a train robber.

    Bye from Ronald

    Hi Reg,

Ultimately the decision would rest with Brainbom whether to incorporate such a wagon into the game but I can see the value of it in a static display and would use it myself.

As this is your specific request, you didn’t answer the question as to whether you would prefer a North American car or not.

To expand on your remark, in addition to the costs involved, I don’t have the real estate available to build a work table to the dimensions I use within the game!

    Regards, Chris

    Hi Reg and Peter,

I messed with the static, working boxcar more and reloaded the image (see above). I’ve also made it available through this link –>

    Working Boxcar.

Please back up “box_np_42652.dds” before unzipping this file into the ..Program FilesBrainBombersRule the Rail!Scenestrains folder.

I like it so much I am going to keep it.

    Well done.

    Happy Reg.
