Need terrain tool help

Kinda thought no one would answer but I found the answer myself. I used the platform tool, put it on the original flat area right next to where the relief (rise) starts, held down the left mouse button and dragged the red circle over the elevated area and it flattened right out again. Here I tried for hours to get the area flat again using the relief tool, impossible to do unless you spend a lot of time on it.
