    Hi Evryone

Just came up with a brilliant idea today about making a drivers eye view or train scenic shot videos.

It might be an idea for displaying a great layout and would make some intresting forum posts.

As soon as i finish european mountains i will try one of my own but what is the best way to record this and where is the best site to upload it to?

    Hi dave…

Your right that is brilliant! I wondered about that myself the other night as I was wathching a show about Lionel trains.

They make or at least plan to make a loco with a camera mounted mounted in the nose. The Governer of Waldovia

has some video’s of this type the he made on his web site. Pretty cool stuff. Definately worth checking out. In RTR I think

the tunnels would present a challenge, but I’ll bet brilliant minds of the Brainbomber Guys are up to it.

I’d also bet that their plates are pretty full right now. Still, it would be a really cool thing to look forward to!

Try Fox-magic.com. They have several screen and video capturing “shareware” tools. After experimenting with several on my system this one works best for me. It records the entire screen or you can define a rectangle or area to record, with no apparent problem with capturing DirectX screens.

Could be used for creating video tuturials, too! 😉

It saves as an .AVI so you’ll need a lot of free hard disk space and then something to convert it to WMV or some other web friendly format.
