Hi. I’d like to share one of my layouts. This is fully automated. Trains are fed into the layout to the up and down lines from a rear fiddle yard. About the fifth train in each direction will stop in the station. Meanwhile at the back of the station there is a fully automated shunting operation continuously running. I set the shunting at a slow speed to look realistic. If you watch the whole sequence from delivery of wagons to their being ready for collection – this takes patience – it takes a while 😆

Anyway, it is quite watchable. It can be downloaded from here

    Regards to all.

    Hi Pete,

Have given your track plan a good run.

    First impressions was good.

    Second impression, very good.

If you add to it let me know.

I don’t think it can get better than what it is.

    Well done.

    Reg.

    5 stars…

    Hi Pete,

Thanks for sharing your latest layout with us. A nice one. It reminds me to what I still have to do: track covers for crossings and double crossings (the covers for the turnouts will come with the next extension pack.

And many thanks for including a picture for Layout Viewer. Now a short description, like you have given here, for Layout viewer would be great. 😉

    Kind regards,

    Willi

Thanks everyone for your kind comments – they give encouragement :D

I do like to hide my fiddle yards. In model railways they are usually hidden behind the scenery back board, I think.

In my next layout (the one I lost and am at present rebuilding) about 80% of the layout is hidden from view. Now there’s something to think about 😉
