    Hi Willi,

Thanks! I’m enjoying them myself. Those earlier cars were definitely in need of a makeover.

I’m looking forward to seeing more of your work, too!

    Best regards, Chris

    Hi Chris and Willi,

In the time as i played Freespace 2,i also created skins and 3d´s for new ships and also enjoyed as Chris told. This is right,to enjoy the creation of your self,to be a master in the near future. I hope i can transform it to RTR.

    Good works. :) :)

    Hello Friends,

I look forward to all your contributions. I can only echo Maury’s thought that it can only improve the game and generally enrich our game experience.

My latest candidate for a future extension pack is this Ralston Purina boxcar.

    Hi Chris,

Just beautiful, many thanks! I think, you can guess my next question. 😆 Where are new Santa Fe’s? 😉

Btw, I didn’t forget my promise to build a Santa Fe layout. But I have a very good excuse: I’m waiting for the new American buildings and other US objects from BrainBombers. 😉 In the meantime I’m building new European objects, so there’s something for everybody.

Kind regards and I’m looking forward to your next textures,

    Willi

    Hi Peter,

According to Wikipedia, there were 53 EMD SD38s built by General Motors Electro-Motive Division (EMD). There is no mention of a booster unit. There were an additional 44 units built (M model) for the Brazilian Federal Railways and another 40 units, designated as the P model, for the Korean National Railways.

Wikipedia also notes that there were 83 units of a dash-2 model built (EMD SD38-2) by EMD. Again, there was no mention of a booster unit.

Photos I’ve seen show an additional unit working in tandem when required.

    Regards, Chris
