Hi Willi and Brainbom, Do it not too slow
❗ and when brainbom did announce 1.4 and LV2.0: : I didn´t read that announcement anywhere yet. November 23, 2006 at 6:55 pm #972AnonymousInactiveHi Peter I did announce it.
😆 Because the new functions in Layout Viewer 2.0 don’t work without the new version of RTR. So it makes only sense if we release both together.Kind regards,
Willi
November 23, 2006 at 8:51 pm #973AnonymousInactiveOutch, In your forum,Willi,i´d read. How true Thanks
November 25, 2006 at 3:23 am #974AnonymousInactiveHi, German speaking members on my forum had some great ideas for improvements and made some really nice contributions like realistic smoke from Mike, new track textures from Mike and me, new skins for German rolling stock (which he will also send to BrainBombers) and a new standard bridge texture from Mike. Mike had also a great idea to make the standard bridge invisible and so to allow building individual bridges like the through girder bridge or the viaduct of any length. Brainbombers will make this even easier, adding a new bridge option. The new textures are already downloadable.
For my new light brown track and the even brighter newly ballasted track I’m working on, there will come a “mask” to make the turnouts more realistic and I’m adding the new options smoke, bridge and track to the soon coming new Layout Viewer version.
As apart from a handful of people there’s no feedback, absolutely no constructive input and no suggestions for improvements (for example like the above mentioned) on my English informations, I won’t waste my time any longer translating everything to English and publish it twice on both forums. I will reduce my informations here to the most important news. If there should anybody be interested, you can take a look at my forum and translate it by Google or Bablefish.
Sorry, but I’m tired making this huge work with English translations for (almost) nothing and want to use the time I gain much more useful, building new models and making other improvements for RTR.
Regards,
Willi
P.S. Many thanks to BrainBombers for all the great new features they have realised within a short time and that will come in RTR 1.4. together with Layout Viewer 2.0! At least one should say thanks to Brainbombers for all the fantastic work they do for us.
November 25, 2006 at 6:52 am #975AnonymousInactiveHi Willi, I am so sorry that you will not translate to English as your idear’s are so good and I am no good at writing, but I do like all your good work.
I have nothing to add to your post as I agree with every thing you do.
Please concider your action if only for me please.
Reg
😥 😥 😥 November 25, 2006 at 10:20 am #976AnonymousInactiveHello Willi, I agree with Reg, please continue with as much English as possible.
I have not recently made any requests for new features in RTR, and I’m waiting for the next update before tackling Layout Viewer.
I have to say that there are so many good ideas coming along that I have run out of fresh ideas myself.
All I can say is that RTR is a fun game, but it would become much better, and more of a simulation, if the suggestions made by subscribers were put into action.
I am certainly looking forward to the next update, and I am sure that many other RTR users are pleased with the recent Extension Packs – so many thanks to all those clever people who are prepared to put some real input into RTR.

November 25, 2006 at 11:48 am #977AnonymousInactiveHi Reg and David, It´s very time expensive to translate all texts into english and Willi has to time for these LV2.0 and 1.4 project. If you readed all in Willi´s forum then see how active is it with
only 28 members❗ ❗ ❗ I hope he´lls to continue translating. Here are over 400,posts have to come as water down the waterfalls and not as a snail has been pulled out of a nosehole.
Critic or and new ideas have to come by them self. It´s equal who´s posting it here, but have to be constructive. Reg,how many % of members here are really active? You and two or three hands full, and the other are only seeing or ordering only. That is´t at all. In Willi´s forum all members are active and post ideas and critics. It´s little but great forum. Visit it,register if you want and do it active
❗ ❗ ❗ November 25, 2006 at 1:16 pm #978AnonymousInactiveOne can’t hardly blame Willi. He truly invests himself into improving the game and expanding possibilities and sees very little positive from it. I would think a simple, “Thanks,” wouldn’t be so painful to offer but apparently it is. So a special thanks to you Willi and here’s some Santa Fe (and other) stock to show my appreciation. These will probably be offered in the new version release:
     And others, time permitting.
Willi deserves great credit for moving RtR forward. He’s done a wonderful job with the layout viewer and his static modeling. Please keep up your fine work.
Regards, Chris
November 25, 2006 at 1:39 pm #979AnonymousInactiveWilli, Please I beg of you to continue translating in English.
I am too old to learn German, please give us a break.
Think of a lonely old man locked up in my cell for 23 hours a day, just for playing with trains.
I like the idea of different track ballast, and the turntable looks good but as for the signal box, that’s Walla.
That means good.
Thanks for all that you have done.
Reg.
P.S. very nice Chris, and do i spy Willi’s signal box.
November 25, 2006 at 2:52 pm #980AnonymousInactiveHi Chris, can i hear about these models, when you did become them?
Look great
let them for the new candidates for the next expansionspacks 😉 😉 💡 Reg,i´ll speak with Willi again about these translations. If you want, you can register in his Forum. You dont need post in german, you can it in english.
November 25, 2006 at 3:06 pm #981AnonymousInactiveHi Peter, Brainbom was nice enough to forward a prototype of the F3/F7 to me. I repaid the favor by adding additional textures based on it.
I’ve used the opportunity to thank Willi in a more demonstrative way for the fine work he’s done for us by adding Santa Fe textures as I know he likes all things Santa Fe.
Regards, Chris
November 25, 2006 at 4:06 pm #982AnonymousInactiveHi Chris, That´s positive,Willi will see it. Can you also post in Willi´s forum to show it all german speaking members there? I know you are regitred member.
😉 There are many new ideas. Dont get lost.💡 Thanks for testing the LV2.0
November 25, 2006 at 4:15 pm #983AnonymousInactiveGood point, Peter. It would be a good way to introduce myself other than to just make ‘noise.’ Regards, Chris
November 25, 2006 at 5:43 pm #984AnonymousInactiveCool new stuff. I car’t wait to get my hands on it all. Thanks Dave
November 25, 2006 at 5:54 pm #985AnonymousInactiveHi Chris, I´d see it in Willi´s forum, did you see textures from Träumer yet? also
